Hypotonic Duodenography


Abstract
The hypotonic duodenography is contributed to the diagnosis of pancreas and gallbladder diseases and is a method of active clinical investigation.
The hypotonic duodenography is performed in fifty patients with abdominal distress and the anatomical
details of the medial margin of duodenal loops and Ampulla of Vater are discussed.
Normal size of Ampulla of Vater, 0. 8 by 0. 8cm, can be obtained in hypotonic duodenography. Recognition of these normal anatomy is essential for the evaluation of certain pathological alterations
in the pancreaticoduodenal interfaces.
